I always knew I wanted to be in love from a very young age. I believed in the idea of love and clearly remember many boy crushes starting at the age of 5. (The first boy to truly break my heart came along in middle school!) But broken school romances turned into more serious life stories with devastating consequences when I experienced my first divorce at the age of 29 as a mother to our 3-year-old daughter, and then again at the age of 43 after a 12-year marriage to the man I truly thought would be my forever love and as the mother of two more daughters.
There I was at age 43, single mom to three girls, embarrassed and ashamed at my “failed” love life. How could I be so successful in my corporate career, with wonderful kiddos and so many meaningful friendships, yet be so “bad” at long-term romantic relationships? How did my parents have a satisfying marriage, yet I didn’t? Why did I keep attracting men who couldn’t love me for me, and for whom I changed constantly to please them and keep them happy with me?
I realized after divorce #2 that I wasn’t loving myself enough. It was a shocking revelation as I had always seen myself as a confident woman! I didn’t know how to date effectively and set boundaries. I ignored red flags and didn’t ask enough questions about the yellow flags. I changed and contorted to fit the personalities of the men I had genuinely fallen for because I wanted them to fall in love with me too. I over-gave without expecting much in return. That I didn’t speak up.
So, I dove into therapy, self-study, relationship books, podcasts and interviewed experts….and also earned a life coaching certification.
I implemented all I learned and then…I magnetized myself to attract the love of my life, Joe. (that's him in the pic with me!) We’ve been happily together since 2021, and I pinch myself each day at his kindness, sexiness, caring and loving focus on me and my happiness! We have this beautiful cycle of loving support, romance and fun…even through the challenges we’ve faced.
A few years ago, I realized I could share what I had learned with other women and help them attract the love life they deserve and desire. It became my life’s calling. I never want another woman to feel unlovable or alone. I wrote two books, one for young women ages 18-26 and another for women late 20s up to 65+, and they met to rave reviews.
My books have been gifted to celebrities at the 2024 Emmys premier gifting lounge and the 2025 Oscars premier gifting lounge! I began coaching women 1-1 in my premium Love Compass coaching program.
